Purge Obamites From Government

President Trump rightfully fired former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates for “acting out”. Still, this holdover should not have been permitted to stay in office in the first place. Likewise, all Obama flunkeys—still entrenched in the federal government's bureaucracy—need to be immediately terminated. That's easily accomplished with one executive order to pink-slip all residual Obama political appointments.

How many remain like troublemaker Yates, or a radical like former Obama Defense Department official Rosa Brooks? For her part, Ms. Brooks publicly advocated “a military insurrection” to compel two-week Trump from office. How is a coup not on par with nutty singer Madonna's call to “blow up the White House”? That's not free speech, that's un-American sedition. Why is it that Obama's minions, and Hollywood limousine liberals, only appreciate democracy when it falls their way?

As much as Trump's style may be grating or unorthodox, what he stands for is apple pie Americanism. Indeed, this America First president is a pragmatist and a populist. He wants to curtail government red tape, intrusion and overreach. For example, he approved the Keystone XL pipeline and wants to champion domestic industry. Thus, how is ensuring American energy independence—while simultaneously providing well-paying blue-collar jobs—something for progressives to get hysterical about? To them, is being an unapologetic pro-American capitalist suddenly an impeachable offense?

The only measure that mattered in the 2016 election was the Electoral College. In that result, the voice of the American people was crystal clear. Obama's failed policies—and his heir apparent—are out. For many good reasons, Republicans now dominate all branches of government.

Emasculated Democrats must similarly expel these fringe elements from their ranks. If they continue their obstructionist path, they risk further voter alienation and long-term political irrelevancy. That's what they should really fear: being the minority party in perpetuity.

Clinton 'Son' Seeks Blue Dress DNA

Danney Williams, 31, finally wants to prove who his big daddy is. Mr. Williams's lifelong quest for his famous father's acknowledgment has leapt right out of the supermarket tabloids—and Joe Klein's novel Primary Colors. With the emergence of yet another Clinton scandal one week before Election Day—this one Bill's now adult love child—the former president should hide all throwable objects from Hillary's legendary rages. Beyond seeing stars (with the tactile, painful memory of a broken White House lamp), the only primary colors Bill anticipates are the bruising kind: black and blue ones from the missus.

Recall, Primary Colors is the tale of a Clinton style southern governor (“Jack Stanton”) who successful run to the presidency is almost derailed by a sexual scandal—specifically an illegitimate multiracial offspring. In real-life are those two characters Bill Clinton and (the remarkably resembling) Danny Williams?

Yet, unfolding events are far more fascinating than Mr. Klein's fiction. Known to Mr. Williams is his mother, Bobbie Ann Williams, an Arkansas prostitute. Tuesday, at a news conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC, Mr. Williams publicly requested some of the presidential goo (yuck!) from Monica Lewinsky via her infamous '90s blue dress. (Providing said genetic material would preclude a long and expensive paternity suit.)

So, once again, Bill and Hill have his and hers scandals to dodge. His is the embarrassment of two unearthed sexual indiscretions strangely merging: the Lewinsky affair (which led to Bill's impeachment) and Mr. Williams's bloodline (more ballast to crooked Hillary's fading presidential prospects). Hers is the reinvigorated Comey FBI probe involving top aide Huma Abedin's 650,000 emails (coupled with her estranged hubby Anthony Weiner's Zipper-gate). It's a wonder any of them have the gall to show their faces in public (let alone seek high elective office).

After Donald Trump's victory on November 8^th, the Clintons could appropriately do the lurid talk show circuit. On Jerry Springer Hillary and Monica could wrestle and pull each other's hair. Then for good measure the Clintons could be featured on Maury ('You are the father'). Lastly, Danney Williams could make a Barbara Streisand “Papa Can You Hear Me?” heartfelt plea for acceptance into the Clinton clan while Dr. Phil arranges an army of therapists to untangle the family dysfunction. 

This endless Clinton soap opera is indeed an epic farce. The tragedy for the American people is that one of them is currently a hair's breadth from the Oval Office. For all their lies and corruption both richly deserve the big house. From behind bars fate would bring everything full circle: the Clintons would get their comeuppance—and authorities could finally collect Bill Clinton's sought after DNA for his long denied 'Danney boy.'

Wasting space with uninformed views

The Washington Times' Letters to the Editor section has shrunk from a traditional newspaper column to that of the size of a post card (done, I presume, for budgetary reasons.) Then, this tiny, precious space is filled with the vacuous views of progressives.

Tuesday's topics: an anti-Trump piece, and an anti-Republican piece for good measure. Regarding “Trump unfit for presidency,” the contributor said, “Never before in American history has a person of Trump's self-absorbed authoritarian mindset come so close to the Oval Office?” Delusion? Those exact qualities describe current Oval Office occupant Barack Obama! Similarly, the second neophyte in “Supreme Court needs nine” laments Mr. Obama's inability to wrest the Senate's constitutional consent for his Supreme Court pick. Indeed, out of the mouth of this babe comes drooling: “I think I deserve to live in a country that follows its constitution.” That's precisely what Senate Republicans are doing in this matter: not giving approval—their purview. Clearly, this millennial has no idea how our system of government actually functions.

Still, we agree on one thing. If Republicans had followed the Constitution and impeached Mr. Obama for repeated executive overreach—clear to anyone who understands our founding document—he would have been somewhat reined in even if not removed from office. And long-term our country would be the better for it. The colossal mess it's currently in is due to both sides of our political leadership not heeding Constitutional strictures.

Impeach the bystander president (after November's 2014 mid-term election)

While Malaysian Flight 17 still smoldered, downed by a surface-to-air missile likely fired by pro-Russian separatists incinerating 298 people, the president continued his scheduled fund raising and speechifying—in which he stated this ‘may be’ a terrible tragedy—without missing a beat.  This dynamic was eerily similar to his reaction the day after the Benghazi travesty in which four heroic Americans were slain futilely defending an overrun and under-secured American embassy.  The president was troubled not a smidgen by this, or other legitimate scandals such as the IRS targeting of conservative groups or NSA spying on rank and file Americans, which he termed ‘phony.’  He has usurped the legislating powers of Congress by the repeated administrative manipulation of the deadlines and requirements of Obamacare for his own political benefit.  Unlike the rest of us, this “Tiger Woods” president seems to exist on a fantasy island (or is that Martha’s Vineyard?) of publically demonized millionaires and billionaires unencumbered by Chinese and Russian aggression against their neighbors, terrorism’s spread in Syria and Iraq, war in the Middle East between Israel and Hamas, nuclear enrichment in Iran and lest I forget the Katrina-like flood of illegal immigrants that have shredded our Southern border worse than the Constitution our Constitutional lawyer president consistently disregards.   When the secret service used the code name ‘Renegade’ for this president, they certainly got that one right.  Congress, do your duty: impeach Obama.
