Leftist Lie: Islam's Sharia Law

As a former Muslim Sunni imam—now a grateful convert to Christianity—the aptly named Mr. Christian is an authority on defining what Islam is. According to this expert, any independent thought, decision-making or movement away from the Islamic religion is a violation of its one set of guiding principles: Sharia law. Unmistakably, the penalty for non-compliance is always the same: death to infidels. By his own admission, understandable fear dogs Mr. Christian for leaving the world's second most popular religion. Indeed, Islam's clear orthodoxy of 'convert or die' (given the backdrop of periodic beheadings of Christians and others) is a sobering reality. Why such Dark Ages barbarity isn't loudly condemned from every civilized corner of the earth is astonishing. In freedom-loving places like 21^st century America (and stridently by the Vatican) most of all.

Where is “good Christian” Barack Obama? Where is Hillary “giggles” Clinton? Where is the eyes covered MSM? Why are all of these philosophical bedfellows hypercritical of the West's “lack of tolerance” (read: Trayvon Martin) while completely blind, deaf and dumb to the truth of this worldwide scourge? Specifically, why do these powers-that-be refuse to call a spade a spade? Why do they summarily disregard practitioners of (radical) Islam who do terrorist killings in the name of that faith?

Of this religion, Mr. Christian explains: “While there are a number of different strains of Muslims, many of which publicly eschew violence, there is only “one Shariah,” and it is the foundation in common for all of Islam. These ancient governing laws are drawn from Islamic scripture, (often established as a religious duty by Mohammed himself) and have not changed in 1,400 years—nor has the violence contained within.” That violence has plagued Europe for over 1,000 years. Not to be left out, America has been dealing with radical Islam for three centuries. That's since Thomas Jefferson's time. How did Mr. Jefferson respond to the clear and present danger of kidnapped and tortured Americans abroad? He formed and dispatched the U.S. Navy.

Contrast that to Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama's antithetical “wait and see” attitude. These “leaders from behind”—abetted greatly by the mendacious media—scapegoat the usual suspects: guns, hate and homophobia. Related to Orlando mass murder Omar Mateen, when he beat his ex-wife or executed 49 innocents at gay nightclub (the ironically named Pulse) he was exercising his religious mandate as a Sharia-compliant Muslim. To Islam, assaulting the spouse—same as killing homosexuals—is the “compassionate” response. Once again, this time in The Washington Post's 'Five Myths' section, an obscure academic in Wisconsin spins fiction:

“And on a range of issues, Islam can fairly be described as feminist. Fiqh scholars, for instance, have concluded that women have the right to orgasm during sex and to fight in combat.”

By combat does this Post scribbler refer to Omar Mateen's domestic struggles with his battered first wife? Sharia is not anti-woman? Well, that's certainly a kick in the head to the former Mrs. Omar Mateen! This writer's spurious (frankly absurdist) “proof” of Muslim men's “open-mindedness” is women's orgasms? Seriously? Well, bully for them! Luckily, these Muslim women's draconian husbands haven't figured out how to control those too! Speaking of sexual matters and control, how is not killing the “abhorrent 49” not brutal punishment? Did liberals lose their minds or are they just missing entirely—like the newly decapitated?

'Alice' in Obama-land

Well, at least Lewis Carroll's Queen allegedly has a heart. Unlike fascist Obama and his minions who have none (including heads.) Our real-life equivalent is scowling, imperious AG Loretta Lynch. She's twisted the meaning of the concept of “sex” in the 1964 Civil Rights act to mean legally undefined gender dysphoria. Yet, that estimated fraction of .03 of one percent of our population isn't at issue. This policy creates a sexual predator loophole: an excuse to access women and young girls in the confined area of public bathrooms, changing rooms (read: Target stores), showers and locker rooms. Of this, Ms. Lynch said: “None of us can stand by when a state is in the business of legislating identity and insists that a person pretend to be something they are not.” Ah, the irony—and hypocrisy—emanating from the dictatorial beltway bubble. Via the federal regime, statist Lynch elevates criminal pretenders over the actual rights of biological females. Even the Queen of Hearts' logic is not so contrary.

Let's be clear: progressives have made an absolute mockery of Martin Luther King Jr.'s legitimate struggle for equal rights for the black community. However, transgender bathrooms have nothing to do with water fountains or segregated buses or schools. Specifically, hormone-fueled men present a potential clear and present danger to unaccompanied women, teens and young girls. So do mischievous adolescent boys wielding cell phones with camera and video functions. Like virtually every Obama-supported policy, this is another recipe for chaos—and disaster.

So, non-compliance to Mr. Obama's transgender edict (via his Orwellian Justice Department) will result in restricting funds for school breakfast and lunch programs for poor students. Heartless: so much for the party of “compassion” for the downtrodden. This is yet another power grab by Big Government ideologues to expand their own political control. See the longstanding Obama pattern: isolated, often petty (aforementioned bathrooms) or tragic situations (read: Obama “son” Trayvon Martin) are manipulated into full-blown societal crises. This artificial chaos propels desired hard leftist change (read: Obama's transformation). That, in turn, has siphoned off America's strength, and diminished her First World status at home and abroad. Pro-American conservatives are smeared as GLBT bigots for wanting to protect the dignity, privacy and safety of vulnerable girls and women. The Queen of Wonderland's treatment of Alice is less devious, radical and mean-spirited than figurehead Lynch's abuse of power.

Obama's Flint Water Lip Service

After years of the American people (and progressive cronies) drinking the Obama Kool-Aid, it seems only fitting that our modern-day Marie Antoinette president should have to drink from Flint's formerly leaded water supply. (Did the royal taster on Mr. Obama's staff make sure it was filtered before it graced his majesty's lips?) Apparently so, because Mr. Obama gulped it down like the pricey Cristal I imagine is always on tap at the White House when his buddy Jay-Z visits with Beyonce (still undoubtedly wearing her Super Bowl 50 “Black Panther” outfit.) In fact, since Mr. Obama seems to like Flint's water so much perhaps he will authorize his own personal Keystone pipeline to the executive residence in case Jay-Z wants a mixer instead of his own brand, golden-bottled Armand de Brignac champagne.

This careless and coddled snake oil salesman—who habitually (golfs, parties, vacations) with millionaires and billionaires at taxpayer expense—is now pushing water: his 21 century version to impoverished blacks as their slave forebearers were once promised 40 acres and a mule: “I’ve got your back,” Obama laughably claimed, “I will not rest and I’m going to make sure that the leaders at every level of government don’t rest until every drop of water that flows to your homes is safe to drink and safe to cook with and safe to bathe in.” Seriously? When has Mr. Obama ever taken on fellow Democrats for anything? The answer is never.

His better than seven year litany of hollow words are always designed to obscure the repeated fact of incompetence and scandal—of his party and/or his own administration. In this case, Democrats running virtually every level of the city and state of Michigan were responsible for this money-saving scheme. Likewise, the failed oversight by Mr. Obama's EPA, the bureaucratic negligence related to its cover-up. Naturally, the MSM (and Flint residents) singled out the one Republican, Gov. Rick Snyder, for blame. Contrast that to Johnny-come-lately Obama's rock star reception: his do-nothing face time was only met with universal, sycophantic praise. (Exactly when will America finally wake up to Mr. Obama's skin-deep “down with the struggle” rhetoric and empty symbolism? My prediction is also never.)

In actuality, Mr. Obama does little more than loaf around. He, self-described in Politico with “Hawaii laziness,” is finally going to step take charge after almost two full presidential terms? Seriously, what hubris to continue to believe that more of this metaphorical shoe shining will fool all of the people, all of the time. Let me be clear: Mr. Obama isn't interested in the plight of fellow human beings (read: “No Trayvon outcry for Tayshawn”) or environmental safety.

Recall, it's election time for Democrats. After almost eight years that has specifically ruined the prospects of black folks (along with the country), this is Mr. Obama's hat in hand effort to, once again, fleece votes. Indeed, Mr. Obama excels at the superficiality of political theater. He likes the pomp and circumstance of the presidency—the high on the hog living—the shallow surfaces of being an empty suit with a teleprompter. He's just not interested in tough calls, real leadership (think Syrian red lines) or advocating for American interests. Yet, same as fundraising, trolling for votes with a winsome smile and a little water gurgling photo-op for cameras (read: appear to be “doing something”) is right in his wheelhouse. After all, a brief stopover in Flint is a tiny effort to shore up the black vote for November's likely highly contested presidential election. That's what this is really about: a legacy-preserving third term (read: “Obama's 'Hillary' offensive”).

It is not hyperbole that JFK was America's last true Democrat as president. Progressives of today have co-opted the “brand” and actually oppose what Mr. Kennedy stood for. Why draw the line specifically after him? His successor, Lyndon Baines Johnson, reportedly said: “I’ll have those n*ggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” (Allegedly, this was confided to two like-minded governors on Air Force One regarding Mr. Johnson's underlying intentions for his “Great Society” programs.) In this regard, 2014 marked the 50^th anniversary of Johnson's War on Poverty in which 22 trillion has been spent without any appreciable improvement to the poverty rate: per the 2013 U.S. Census Bureau 14.5 percent of Americans are poor—the same as in 1967—three years after Johnson pushed through his socialistic programs.

How was this achieved? All fascists use tragedy to compel change both desirous to them and for them. In LBJ's case, he exploited the Kennedy assassination to ensure widespread government dependence (read: the “carrot”) and its inevitable political endgame: the future election of “Democrats.” Correspondingly, Mr. Obama's “corrosive attitude that exists in our politics” is entirely a product of his and Mrs. Clinton's Sal Alinsky style polarization and class warfare (read: the “stick”).  Either method is designed to gin up minority votes for progressives—even though their policies are detrimental to their duped supporters! Therefore, make no mistake: that's the only reason Flint “counts” to politicians of their ilk—as election day propaganda.

Obama: a 21st century Nero?

Myth has it that Roman Emperor Nero (15 December 37 AD – 9 June 68 AD), fiddled while Rome burned. Historians tell us this story isn't 100 percent true. Violins didn't technically exist in 64 AD, but Nero—and the six-day Great Fire of Rome that destroyed approximately three-quarters of the city—were real enough. At the time, Nero blamed Christian scapegoats (then an obscure sect) for all the trouble. Sounds a lot like our current Islam-inclined U.S. president, and a political landscape where history is repeating itself.

Another telling parallel, like every opportunistic fascist, Nero happily used the crisis to clear land for his planned palatial complex—the Golden House—the Domus Aurea. You read that correctly: the buildings and ornamental gardens were already planned. This disruptive circumstance—which made half of Rome's residents homeless—makes for nice symbolism for Mr. Obama's own corrosive philosophy, the “fundamental transformation of America.” That too is burn, baby burn, metaphorically-speaking, of course.

In Nero's time, his understandably skeptical citizenry suspected he caused the calamity to promote his personal agenda, but nothing was ever proven. Mr. Obama is no different in this regard. For example, his longstanding, well publicized attitude of 'stupidly-acting cops' and 'if I had a son he'd look like Trayvon' similarly exploit misfortune to advance his own anti-law and order mind-set. In this same vein, using televised speeches to figuratively 'crack a few police noggins together' foments crises that force the vague “change” of Mr. Obama's 2008 campaign slogan.

As a result of the last more than seven chaotic years of his Constitution-violating overreach, the political needle has swung violently hard left. He has accomplished this with an imperialist's disregard for established law. Moreover, he has also ignored custom by jerry-rigging the reassuring presidential podium into a rabble-rousing bully pulpit. His aforementioned publicly uttered racial pronouncements have encouraged the vigilantism of the Black Lives Matter mob. However, the Obama clan has no skin in the game. Unlike the rest of us, they enjoy armed 24-hour Secret Service protection.

This past week, to add further injury to the Western psyche, his anti-American ideology is in full flower from nearby Cuba; a totalitarian slave-state, and communist bur in America's side since JFK's 1960s. His extended selfie photo op, a three-day Obama family vacation, will do nothing to promote human rights or the American ideals of freedom or liberty. This “unconventional” choice contrarily highlights Mr. Obama's paper tiger legacy while simultaneously further obscuring his still-undisclosed true intentions (amid an already murky personal background.)

Unfortunately, a checkered reputation is not new phenomenon in politicians. Today, as Nero, our national leaders are similarly skilled at keeping their own fingerprints off of suspected wrongdoing. Think of Hillary Clinton's habitual lies, stream of subject-dodging double-speak, and her many scandals: Benghazi, Server-gate and Charity-gate (also known as “Clinton Cash” influence-bartering). All of this brown haze, its corrupt stink dogs Democrats like a nebulous, intangible political smog.  It doesn't matter too much with a supportive propagandist MSM in tow.

Obama mindlessly fritters away his last year while the never-say-die Clinton political machine sputters to a predetermined inevitability. (A so-called “Democratic” presidential nomination that in reality is ironically autocratic.) Nero, too, was known to “fix things” to his liking. How is that different from the ongoing absence of Justice Department indictments against she who promises a legacy-preserving Obamaesque third term? Beyond that, same as long-dead Roman emperors, Mr. Obama shares pleasure-seeking for personal gratification (read: once again, that meaningless Cuba “ego” trip.) History's echo warns that all men of their ilk practice big-government, top-down pandering to the public (when it serves their personal interests.) No sweet Shakespearean rose is this, but an ancient weed known in today's age as progressivism.

Also analogous to Nero's insensitive “playing” is Mr. Obama's enjoyment of baseball in Havana with Bolsheviks. His very presence there bolstering the world standing of brutal leftist dictators. Meanwhile, the smoldering terrorist-bombed Brussells tragedies that killed many (including four Americans, two young marrieds Justin and Stephanie Shults among them) is bereft of his attention and his set-in-stone schedule (read: attending a Las Vegas fundraiser after the aforementioned Benghazi attack or golfing directly after presidential remarks regarding the terrorist beheading of American journalist James Foley). How is any of this behavior fundamentally different from Nero's reported “fiddling” response to Rome's catastrophe?

Yet, in the final analysis, Mr. Obama might be more cold. Even Nero was sensible enough not to get caught the next day dancing a celebratory jig or Mr. Obama's equivalent, an oblivious tango in Buenos Aires. For our president's sheer insensitivity, perhaps a closer personality model is another, Roman Emperor Gaius Julius Caesar Augustus Germanicus (nicknamed “Caligula.”) Known to be similarly self-consumed, power-loving and unfeeling to human suffering, both men specifically share a public contempt for his government's respective Senate. Although the circumstance is unsubstantiated, to the Roman version of this deliberative body “Caligula” appointed a horse as senator. For his part, Mr. Obama simply employs an ultra-Constitutional middle finger to Congress. As a result, societal chaos is a hallmark under both men's regimes. Incidentally, “Caligula,” means “little boots,” making his example also a perfect fit for Mr. Obama's dancing feet. Cha-cha-cha.
